KWUN, your smart housekeeper. Get ready for the journey.
KWUN is a set of smart entryway furniture with a shoe-changing stool and a storage shelf. With the use of RFID technology, KWUN reminds you what to pack every time you leave home, the umbrella when it’s about to rain, and your keys when you leave them behind.
The project starts with the hope of designing a better life for my family members with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, ADHD. Focusing on misplacing objects and forgetfulness led by limited working memory, the design concept wants to solve the problem, which seems familiar and straightforward: How not to forget things before we leave home? KWUN aims to create a designated space for users' items, thus building the habit and awareness of their behaviour with things.

1. Store Easier, Pack Faster
Applied RFID technology, to check if you have brought your keys, wallet, umbrella, and all other items with you.
Smart mirror reminder system includes item reminders, weather notices, and schedule displays. Using artificial intelligence (AI) to learn from your behaviour, never get caught in the rain again.
2. KWUN Tag
A passive RFID Tag is designed for specific items with an icon printed on it. Customizable item tags are also available. Each tag can pair with 1 item. The tag can be rewritten to update items.

3. Smart tracking
Attach the KWUN RFID Tag to your personal belongings. KWUN Smart Mirror knows if they are missing on the stool and shelves.
How is it different?
Think ahead and save for a rainy day. The product concept is about something other than finding lost items like many Bluetooth trackers do on the market. Instead, KWUN keeps your things for you, so you do not risk the chance of losing them. It tracks users' items with your behaviour to help them build habits in taking care of their things and making connections and emotions between the objects and themselves.
