Origin of Wood is one of the proposals in a cooperative project, designed for our Japanese client Roots Inc. Roots is a project in Keihoku, a remote area in Kyoto, which is aiming for a revival of forestry. Our team, formed with schoolmates in different disciplines, was responsible for providing a design proposal for one of Roots’s projects, “Log-In”. Design with wood to make the best use of the resources in Keihoku.
